This has got to be my absolute favorite venue in Barrie for the smaller weddings! Filled with charm and historical character, not to mention the crazy yummy food, but it’s right at the lakeshore too! I am a little biased towards this place, as the heart of the Farmhouse lays in my childhood stomping grounds. .. But yes yes the food is amazing too! I am always expressing to my clients how much making and engagement session personable is pretty well the most important thing you could do. This session held at their own first Cottage together could not be more personal and true to who they are as a couple in your life. That automatically screams chemistry in every single photo you can see. Which makes it easy for anyone to see why this would be one of my most memorable engagement shoots today. My first thought of the idea was to find a session that kids could fall in love with. You see more times than not having a child or family session can be full of pressure for a kid to have fun and enjoy themselves. Which as a parent of course that's what we want to capture in a photo, the happiness. I never could have imagined how insanely excited a unicorn session could make a child. They have turned out to be immensely successful and of course how could they not with such a handsome gentle horse.
